Chance joined Broadreach in 2022 after spending five years in the newsroom, covering everything from local government to arts and entertainment. The newsroom helped foster a work ethic focused on direct communication, collaboration and clarity. When not working with clients or keeping up with statewide trends, Chance can be found out and about in Portland with his camera or at home working on his art and writing. 

Chance is originally from Massachusetts, where he earned dual bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, starting his career at local dailies and weeklies in Western and Central Massachusetts.
