Broadreach Public Relations, a strategic communication and public affairs firm located on Commercial Street in Portland welcomes Jennifer Van Allen as Associate Director of Client Services.
Jen brings 26 years of experience writing for daily newspapers, magazines, and digital channels. Her work has been appeared in publications such as The Washington Post, The New York Times, Runner’s World, Mainebiz, and the Portland Press Herald. In her role, Van Allen is responsible for providing public relations, strategic communications, and content strategy support for Broadreach clients. Prior to joining Broadreach, Jen served as branded content editor for Down East magazine.

Originally from Indiana, Jen earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Kenyon College in Ohio. She currently resides in the Portland area. When she is not in the office, Jen gets into the woods and on the water as much as possible with her husband, her son, and their labradoodle Buster.
