But you might not know that Linda is a top notch golfer, Mike loves to surf and Nick coaches basketball. Read on to see what the Broadreach team does when we’re not hard at work.
Linda
Someone told me once, “what you love is what you are doing when you are procrastinating.” That must mean I love hanging and playing with our three golden retrievers. When not starting businesses (my husband and I have three) or chasing tennis balls with Zoe, Gracie and Roxy, we’re golfing with friends, chasing our grandchildren around (Luke and Jake) and planning trips. Having just finished building our “forever” home, sometimes it’s just nice to enjoy Maine and all of its beauty. [pictured: Linda’s hole-in-one!]
Mike
A lifelong wave-rider, I’ve surfed everything from the navy blue beach floats you find on Long Sands Beach to boogie boards to twin-fins, fish, logs, swallow tails and eggs (all surfboards, not an overly aggressive Top Chefchallenge). These days, I use a stand-up paddle board to cruise Maine’s lakes and rivers, and try to get in longboard sessions whenever the waves are right.
Jillian
Living by the beach, I head down to sit and read or take a walk along the water whenever I have the chance – anything to be by the ocean. Since moving to Maine a few years ago, I’ve been making an effort to explore the outdoors, from hiking to kayaking to skiing. I’m also in the process of getting my MBA, so getting outside is a great balance to the many nights spent in class or studying.
Nick
I’m an avid sports fan, with basketball as my top passion. I play and watch any chance I get. Throughout the year I provide support to high school student athletes looking to play sports in college, and spend the winter months coaching high school basketball.
Chief Morale Officers
Roxy: I love playing, swimming and running around in the yard, but I also like to snuggle up on the couch with my mom and dad. My big sisters Zoe and Grace are my role models – I can’t wait to grow up and be big like them! Humans have also been known to win me over with a treat.
Zoe: Unlike my sisters, I prefer not to get dirty outside. When I’m not at the office, I like to sleep in and be lazy around the house. I do enjoy playing with my little sisters from time to time, but some say I’m a bit of a princess.
Grace: When I’m not at work, I’m outside – playing ball, going for a walk, swimming or chasing my sisters. Just about anywhere you’ll find me with a tennis ball.
